War Child

War Child asked Fabrique to create a new website that would help them convey their unique mission better and most importantly increase donations to support their cause. They also wanted to incorporate a new style, developed internally, that focused on putting the story of the children front and centre.

Ready for December

December is the most important month of the year for fundraising for any NGO. So when we started the project in September we had a hard deadline to reach. We needed to create a website that would convert and could be delivered just in time for the month when people are at their most generous. In three sprints we built a site that would not only introduce the new style but totally revolutionise how donations were being asked for. The latter required plenty of effort to convince cautious stakeholders at War Child to step away from their tried-and-tested methods.

Giving a voice to children

The result was a site that looked more optimistic and mature and put the voice of the children first. We developed a style and content that made them relatable and real. More importantly there was a 29% increase in revenue, compared to the previous year, during the festive month of December.
